Grandma Jan came to Germany for a couple of weeks. We brought her to some of our favorite sites in Germany and France.
Anna braved a trip home with the kids to spend time with family. CJ joined them for a portion of the trip after attending a work conference.
Wow! I just updated this new blog with 2012’s first six months and it was wonderful, wild and exhausting. We traveled, skied, scuba dived, partied, and played with friends and loved life. In the second half we continued with celebrating life in all its glory. We shared our blessings with family by hosting the Docken’s here in Germany and then heading to the States for some quality time. We moved households, which was CRAZY, but very worth it. We live in Bann, Germany still, but are much happier in a house that suites us better. 2012 was a back breaking year for CJ, workwise. He outpaced most of his colleagues in the entire military system. He is the chief of the pain clinic here and his clinic saw a 300% increase in patient care under CJ’s leadership. In addition he made great friends. The clinic is made up of some of the nicest and funnest folks we have had the pleasure to work with. I continue to foster friendships and create fun for us here. Gloria and Liam are both in montessori school and thriving! 2013 will bring lots of fun including skiing in Austria, ramblings to Italy and Greece and possibly a trip to Japan…just a thought…
